I see some boats still keep a foot operated water second outlet in addition to the pressure outlet in the galley. Given the small area worksurface is there merit in this?

Given the relatively small amount of water that can be held in the under floor tank a foot pump makes sense as less water will be used.  Really easy to ease water when it's pressurised.

I have both pressurised water for Galley and heads and a foot pump at the galley, in reality I rarely use the pressurised system but is most useful if I want to empty the tank quickly when going racing as I open the heads tap and second and it all drains away with no pumping.
